Textbook rental as described
As described.
I really needed this book for my class that begins on 6/3. First of all it cost so much less then what I would have paid if I bought this book from the school bookstore and was in perfect condition. Secondly, I received the book before my class started so kudos to the seller for sending it as quickly as they did.
Exactly what I needed and as described. Will be put to good use
Very in-depth A&P textbook. This is not the most recent version, but it is the one required for my class for some reason. It is an excellent reference and provides details about how and why the body works the way it does. I am reading it from cover to cover and enjoying it all.
Top of the line book, I had the 3rd edition which was also good, but this newer edition has newer information. It did leave out, in this newer edition, a short statement about the adverse effects of vasectomy on men. My concern is this reflects market bias that keeps people from making informed choices.
I have to use this book for a grad school pre-req A&P course. The textbook is incredibly informative--moreso than the one my mother had to use for her A&P 1&2 courses when she went to become a MA. The only drawback is that the authors can get a little TOO detailed and can sometimes forgo important details that would otherwise make the topic a bit more accessible.
I want to go into nutrition, so a lot of the information I get bombarded with does not apply to the field I want to enter. It's unfortunate, because I am taking an online course, so I need to treat each and every section equally, which means obtaining a general understanding of everything the authors present to you. It's not a bad thing, trust me, but it can get overwhelming at times and I know I will not remember a lot of the information once my course is over.
Love the supplemental website that comes with this book. Have utilized said website for test reviews multiple times now and have maintained an A in the course because of all the extra practice. One more section for A&P 1 and then I am done for the semester, woo hoo!
