It instantly brought me back to my 2nd graders because when I taught, we always did a unit on the life cycle of a butterfly. In fact, this book would have been perfect for that. My 2 year old was very interested in the colors and illustrations on every page.
Ideal for school-aged children, it not only teaches the basic facts of the life cycle, but also goes into detail about blooming plants perfect for attracting butterflies and which host plants are perfect for each species of munching caterpillars to grow big and fat.
